I really do not have very much background in technology. I would define myself as "technically challenged." I am competent and know enough to get by, but beyond what is required of me, I know nothing. I do, however, wish that I knew more because I am very aware of how important technology is.

  1. I feel simiarly to you about just knowing enough to do what is required. I am sure we will expand our knowledge of technology in the class. By the end of the semester we won't be just getting by with technology we'll be using it effectively and correctly to teach. (I hope so at least.)

  2. Angela - desire to learn is the first important key. This class will help you immensely if you have desire and determination to learn!

I notice that you have not completed all of the requirements for the PLE submission. Be sure to check the requirements each week on the assignments page for the PLE submissions - see http://open.byu.edu/ipt287/assignments/assignment-2-personal-learning-environment/#wk1 for week 1
